Eating times are relevant to the time of day you awake, don't make the mistake of copying a diet plan that states eat at certain times of the day, this will put you under stress, especially if you miss the first meal for some reason or another.
I always eat within 2 hours of waking up and start the day with a high carb meal to power me through the day. This may alter if I am doing an intense training session early in the morning like (weights, or over 40 minutes cardio), under these circumstances I will eat as soon as I awake as my body will not perform without these well needed carbs.
Training
I will then start training within 2 hours and eat straight after.
Not Training or Light Cardio
I will eat at approximately the 2 hour point then every 3 hours after, this keeps the furnace going your metabolism that is.
